The Frost is the smaller of the two Discovery cases. At 38mm across and 11.3mm thick it still reads as a full-size watch, without the bulk that catches on a cuff or a yoke. If you have worn an oversized aviation watch and felt it get in the way, this is the direct answer. The circles below are actual size when printed.

Why it exists
We surveyed 1,847 pilots before building the Discovery, then removed everything that did not earn its place. What stayed: a dial that reads like an instrument, a second time zone in a single window, and a case that does not fight the cuff. Case size came up more than almost any other spec. The 38mm is the answer to that.

The Frost is 38mm across and 11.3mm thick, the smaller of the two Discovery cases. It was made for wrists the 42mm overwhelms, and it still reads as a full-size watch. Use the sizing aid above: print it at 100% and the circles are actual size. The riveted leather strap is sized to fit smaller and larger wrists alike.
The crescent window at 12 shows a second time zone on a 24-hour scale while the hands show local time. Most pilots set it to Zulu so UTC is always in view. Setting instructions are in the user manual linked at the bottom of this page.

Yes. The Frost is water resistant to 100 meters, with Viton seals and case gaskets and a screw-down crown. Keep the crown screwed down and it is fine for rain, hand washing and swimming.
Every Discovery carries a 2-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, and Call Sign replaces the battery for life. The Swiss quartz movement runs about 45 months per battery; when it is time, send it in and we replace the cell and reseal the case so the water resistance holds.
An unengraved watch can be returned within 30 days of receiving it for a full refund, unworn and in its original packaging, or exchanged for an item of equal or lesser value.
