THE QUESTION THAT STARTED IT
As a commercial pilot, Beau Garrett saw a gap between watches marketed as “aviation watches” and what pilots wanted to wear. Aviation is full of hard-earned milestones. He imagined a watch that could serve pilots in the cockpit and help them remember the moments that got them there.
Rather than guess, Beau asked pilots on social media. In seven weeks, 1,847 pilots responded. The answer was remarkably clear: show Zulu and local time at a glance, stand up to real use, and look good on the wrist.
THE DISCOVERY
The first Discovery shipped in September 2023. It put local and Zulu time in one clean glance, stood up to daily wear, and felt at home after the flight, too. Pilots could have their Airmen Certificate number engraved on the caseback, turning a useful watch into a reminder of something earned. We began under the name Bravo Golf.
THE FIRST BIG OPPORTUNITY
When SUN ’n FUN accepted us into its 2024 show, we arrived excited to learn what the aviation community thought. Pilots stopped, tried the watches, shared their stories, and started buying. The response gave this small idea real momentum.

A DOOR WE DIDN’T EXPECT
At SUN ’n FUN, we were approached by the Wright family about licensing their name for a limited edition watch collection. The Wright Brothers series launched in October 2024, carrying us from our first pilot watch into a new way of honoring aviation history.
What started at the show grew into a licensed series honoring the Wright family and the people behind the first flight. The collection gave us a way to connect the function of a pilot’s watch with the history that inspired so many pilots to fly.

As people outside aviation began seeking us out, we learned that Bravo Golf was often mistaken for a golf brand. In August 2025, we officially became Call Sign: a name that still speaks to aviation and makes room for everyone whose moments are worth marking.
The watch began with what pilots asked for. The community around it continues to shape where we go.

Our collaborations now reach beyond the cockpit, while the design brief stays familiar: useful watches that mark meaningful moments.
The American Legion series brought another reason to mark time: honoring service and the people who have carried this nation forward. We joined the Legion at its August 2026 conference as the watches began shipping.
